It’s been said that when your liver suffers your body breaks down.

A healthy liver plays a vital role in digesting the food you eat and the nutrients you absorb and rids your body of toxic substances.

Many people do enemas, colon cleanses and fasting to assist the liver. Today I want to share with you a powerful detoxification technique that flushes toxins and pollutants out of your liver.

To help eliminate toxins and cleanse your liver, you need to increase the flow of bile from the liver and the following tonic works like magic! Here it is...

  1. Mix 6 oz. of grapefruit juice mixture with 2 oz. of lemon juice. This mixture will make your mouth crinkle – it has a very acidic taste!
  2. Pour the juice mixture into a blender, and add one clove of garlic, half a teaspoon of grated fresh ginger and 1 tablespoon of cold pressed extra-virgin olive oil.
  3. Now, you need to dilute this mixture with up to 6 oz. of filtered water so that you can drink it. Now blend it all well together.
  4. Enjoy! You may want to follow this with a chamomile tea – it has both a cleansing effect on the liver and a calming effect on the mind.

That liver flush may be done on several consecutive days. But because it is made up of mainly citrus fruit juices it should be avoided by overly acidic individual.

An overly acidic body puts enormous strain on the liver. It makes absolute sense to assist your body in eliminating wastes and toxins by eating liberal amounts of alkaline-rich foods.
